Beyond the count
Your follower count is only the surface.
One number can't tell you what moved. Follower Change reads the currents underneath it — every arrival, every departure, everything that held steady.
New
Profiles that appeared in the newer snapshot. They found you — or found you again.
Lost
Profiles present before, absent now. The data shows they left — never why.
Retained
The stable core. The relationships that held through every change.
The instrument
Upload. Analyze. Understand.
Your Instagram export goes in. Answers come out. Everything happens right here in your browser — the server never sees your follower lists.

Follower history
Two snapshots. One story.
Compare an earlier export with a newer one and watch profiles arrive and depart. No monitoring, no tracking — just your own data, compared.

An account missing from the newer snapshot counts as lost — but absence alone doesn't prove why it disappeared. It may have been deleted, renamed, or made private rather than intentionally unfollowing.

Honest by design
What the data can — and cannot — tell you.
Follower Change can show
- Current follower relationships — who follows whom, right now
- Differences between two snapshots you provide
- New accounts in the newer snapshot
- Accounts absent from the newer snapshot
- Retained accounts across both snapshots
- Non-followers — accounts that don't follow you back
Follower Change cannot know
- The exact reason someone disappeared — only that they did
- The exact time someone unfollowed
- What happened before your first snapshot
- Private-account information
- Who visits your profile

Short, practical explanations of how follower comparison actually works.
Questions
Asked, answered.
What is an unfollower tracker?
An unfollower tracker compares follower data to identify changes. A historical comparison can show accounts that were present in an earlier snapshot but are missing from a later one.
Can Instagram show me who unfollowed me?
Instagram does not provide a simple built-in list of every account that unfollowed you. A tracker can compare follower snapshots to identify changes.
Can I see who doesn’t follow me back?
Yes. If your follower and following lists are available in a supported export, the tool can compare them and identify accounts you follow that aren’t in your follower list.
Do I need my Instagram password?
No. The intended workflow uses exported follower/following data rather than asking for your Instagram password.
What is the difference between unfollowers and non-followers?
Non-followers are accounts you currently follow that don’t currently follow you back. A historical unfollower result refers to an account that was present in an earlier follower snapshot but is absent from a later one.
Can I find people who unfollowed me yesterday?
Only if you have an earlier snapshot to compare with a newer one. A single current follower list cannot reveal when an account disappeared.
Is this an Instagram app?
No. Follower Change is being built as a browser-based web tool that analyzes exported follower data.
Is the tool free?
The initial follower comparison experience is planned as a free tool. Features and limits may change as the product develops.
